Am i overweight if i am 12 yrs old, 5'4 and weigh 129lbs.?
Answer:
I dont mean this in a bad way but you are slightly overweight but stop worrying and do something about it unless you want to go through life like that which is unpleasant, I guy I know ways 90 kgs he's 5ft and he's pure fat. People tease him a lot and he got fed up with it so everyday he wakes up at 4am runs around the school field 6 times, gyms after school and runs again at night and he's getting better.

When I was 13, I was 5' 4" and 123 lbs and my doctor made me drink these gross shakes to gain weight.
not really. im 14 and weigh 120 but I am shorter than you. my friend she is a stick but weighs like 138 because she is 5'10 or something like that. Also, if you feel over wieght dont diet just eat healthier ( as in dont drink so much soda or eat so much candy, chips, or nasty fast food ) and play outside with your friends or with a pet.
If you are 12 never think of loosing weight with the help of absense of food! A helthy diet doesn't mean eating nothing!
According to the magazine photos you might think so, @ 129 if you are becoming curvey, you are healthy 129 might just work for you. At your height I would try to stay in that range, but you are likely to grow for a couple years. Learn now to eat well, remember that food is fuel and if you over fill, you body is quite effecient in storing that fuel for later (fat) It's good to have curves and a little padding but too much is too much. At your age, I don't think I would worry about it too much. You didn't mention your bone structure, but I wouldn't really consider you overweight yet..It probably wouldn't hurt for you to lose a couple of pounds, but I would focus more in increased exercise rather than diet to take them off.
